THE COUNTRY IS SICK AND TIRED OF HEARING Never have so few done so much to harm so many

The politicians of this country and their lackeys and hangers-on must FULLY understand the country and its people are sick and tired of all the manoeuvres and machinations that are currently ongoing with some kind of development every five minutes.

They must also understand the enormous harm they are doing the country – in some cases most, most irresponsibly – particularly those who scheme and plot for their own political gain.

Their excuse is that Justice has to be done over the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia. BULLSHIT.

Yes, of course Justice has to be done; Justice has to be done in every criminal act and Justice has to be done in this major of criminal cases.

However, the shameful, disgraceful, disgusting and despicable exploitation being whetted has exceeded all the bounds of decency – unfortunately seemingly aided and abetted by the Caruana Galizia family themselves. Yes of course they want Justice for their murdered relative – but is that all they want? Do they want political vengeance at all cost? As time has lapsed this has become more and more apparent and exploded last week.

In the immediate aftermath of the murder, the first outbursts were continual allegations that this was “clearly a political murder”. This opened the door for a barrage of disgraceful local and international exploitation that did not aid investigations but in fact hampered them and contributed greatly to dirty Malta’s image abroad.

There followed months of allegations that “nothing” was being done by the authorities to solve the murder case – despite the clear fact that three suspects were rounded up and are currently undergoing the course of Justice – whether guilty or otherwise innocent..

The whole affair exploded last week and finally created the Mob Rule of Law that led to disgraceful scenes outside the country’s Parliament and attempted physical attacks on the Minister for Justice, besides all the menacing, threatening and blaspheming.

And the result of the Rule of Law on this was – NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING – even though Police persons were also injured.

So, where does the Rule of Law stand in the country? For months we heard of oil scandals and oil commissions, and the result – NOTHING. We heard of construction scandals in the building of Mater Dei Hospital, and the result – NOTHING. Now, we have Mob Rule, and the result – NOTHING.

So let me frame this properly. If today I put out a grey refuse bag and today is black bag day, I stand to be fined and fines are being inflicted. If I stand in Valletta’s Republic Street and insult and blaspheme at passers-by, I will be immediately arrested, arraigned and no doubt fined heavily.

However, if I do this in front of Parliament, kick and damage a Minister’s car, assault Police personnel while swearing and blaspheming – then apparently I have legal immunity.

When no information was forthcoming about the DCG case, the accusations were the Government is not really investigating but are trying to hide things up. When the Prime Minister gave some cautious information about latest developments last week, the tune changed – he is now interfering.

Sham civil societies are now trying their utmost to create a “Hong Kong situation” in Malta. That is what we have come to.

Well, the country and the great majority of its people are TOTALLY sick and tired of these mentally sick aberrations.

I repeat, never have so few done so much to harm so many.

That is the state of the country today.
