There are many sayings, quotes and proverbs – some highly contradictory. “Look before you leap” and “He who hesitates is lost” are just two of many.
However, those that have stood the positive test of time must be attributed to the all-time genius Albert Einstein – particularly his pronouncement that human stupidity is infinite.
Without going into names – because this is not about one person or a group of persons in particular – but of general application, the question being frequently asked is “whether a person’s death could have been prevented?” Not by the inevitability of natural death of course, but by other means – whatever they are.
The depth of the problem is even more chronic because this human brain fixation is not only that of a few feeble brains but is actually being asked by authorities such as the EU Commission and the Council of Europe.
How more idiotic can these get?
Well yes, death of humans may be prevented and in real terms it can be applied thus:
Stop all Grand Prix car racing
Stop all boxing, wrestling and martial arts
Stop all military forces
Stop all air travel
Stop skiing
Stop mountain climbing
Stop sea diving
Stop bungi jumping
Stop all driving
Stop all alcohol drinking
Stop all smoking
... in short, stop everything, make the people of the world lie in coffins and wait for natural death.
All persons who participate in these and all events, know the possibility of outcomes – but these are no deterrent and never will be.
One of the wisest sayings is that “if you live by the sword, you die by the sword”.
Consider that.
