Who is REALLY responsible for the murder of Lassine Cisse Souleymane? If you sow anarchy, hate, rac

Two soldiers, members of Malta’s Armed Forces are currently being held, amidst reports, they will soon be arraigned in Court to be charged with the wilful, racist murder of the 42-year-old Ivorian Lassine Cisse Souleymane.

The news yesterday shook the Maltese islands and saw politicians rushing in to make their comments.

Among those in the forefront was Nationalist Party Leader Adrian Delia. It is worth considering deeply some of the things he was reported to have commented on the situation.

Delia said that, “in the name of the Party (i.e. the PN)” he “requested an investigation that is transparent and independent.”

All very well; all very frank and honest; all very upstanding.

BUT, what is the REAL meaning behind his statement? To me it is very clear. Delia said, as he and his colleagues have repeated time and again, that “investigations” carried out are “dubious”. This is with obvious reference to the Egrant Inquiry and the investigations into the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia; thus it is hoped this investigation is not “subject to manipulation and will reveal the truth and nothing but.”

Now what is that except instigation to anarchy? It reflects dark shadows on Justice, the Rule of Law and the rule of Law and Order. It creates incertitude into the democratic fairness of many legal institutions – and this is backed up by continual accusations that all the country’s institutes are being manipulated and dominated and DO NOT achieve Justice but conclude to the wishes of their masters.

Delia backed this up last week by brazenly stating the country is now “under a Dictatorship”. This follows months and months of his colleagues and he trundling in and out of Court, completely being legally rebuffed and then blurting out that corruption is ruling the day, that the Attorney General is being “manipulated”, that the Police are “corrupt”, are “not doing their work and turning a blind eye when it suits them”, and that the Police Commissioner is merely a “tool” in the Government’s hands.

The Police Commissioner is ridiculed and vilified; His picture is carried around to be splattered with squashed tomatoes and fruit – while PN representatives laugh and clap in approval.

Consequent to these we have witnessed actions of deep hostility towards the forces of Law and Order and a youth is currently being charged with having maimed a Police Sergeant carrying out his duties with an intent to kill him and later a relative of the youth being accused of having said his cousin almost killed one Policeman and he is ready to do the same to two.

There have also been further incidents of deep hostility towards the Police and legal authorities.

Meanwhile, the country is being subject to continual scares and alarms that illegal immigrants and foreigners have commandeered the country, that the country’s economy is being dictated by foreigners, that the Maltese and Gozitans are being relegated to “second class citizens” and in general, strong, continual doses of racism and xenophobism.

Yesterday Delia also is reported to have said “that great efforts are needed to ensure that Malta BECOMES a safe place.” In other words, it is currently NOT a safe place, a country that is brimming with fear and anxiety, straddled by a Dictatorship where human rights and security are non-existent.

If you continually sow anarchy, hate, racism and xenophobism you get - anarchy, hate, racism and xenophobism.

SO – WHO IS REALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BRUTAL MURDER OF LASSINE CISSE SOULEYMANE?
