The only comparison between Malta and Hungary that I can think of goes back to the 1950s when one of Malta’s greatest footballers Salvinu Schembri (grandfather of the current Malta soccer star Andre Schembri) had such wizardry on the football and was one of the innovators of the “banana shot” because of the curvature of his legs, that he was compared to have the talent of the great Hungarian footballer Ferenc “the Galloping Major” Puskas.

Puskas was a Major in the Hungarian Army but fled his country in 1956 when the Soviets brutally destroyed the Hungarian Revolution. He fled to Spain, won great glory with Real Madrid and later also played for Spain, having previously been the star of the wizard-like Hungarian national team of the early 50s.

Now, Malta MEP Dr Miriam Dalli has revealed that the President of the EU Parliament Antonio Tajani of Italy did not vote in the Censure Motion to isolate Hungary on grounds he feels that by comparison, Malta is “worse” than Hungary in the Rule of Law!

Now, this is really choice coming from a man who decided to name a Press Room in the EU Parliament after a Blogger who was found to have been instrumental in a frame-up attempt on Malta’s Prime Minister. Obviously, Tajani does not have a problem with that.

So perhaps he is worth a greater look at. Tajani is a close friend and ally of Bunga-Bunga Party man Silvio Berlusconi who created Forza Italia. So much so, that had Forza Italia won the recent General Election, Tajani would now be Prime Minister of Italy.

Being Italian, Tajani is of course an expert in Freedom, Justice and the Rule of Law. How so?

Italy has been largely dominated by the MAFIA for virtually 150 years; this is a MAFIA that murdered Government Minister Aldo Moro, murdered several Magistrates and scores of Police officials and over the years has been responsible for the murders of thousands of innocent men, women and children caught in inter-tribal warfare. To gain revenge, it has been quite common to murder a rival’s whole family in their beds.

In addition, Italy was dominated by a Fascist-Nazi Government Party for a number of years and for decades after World War II had the largest Communist Party in Europe outside the Soviet Union.

So yes, Tajani is undoubtedly a seasoned expert in the Rule of Law as it has been totally absent from his country for decades at a stretch!

What was perhaps more disturbing as revealed by Dr Dalli is that Tajani is continuing to receive ‘briefs’ from Maltese traitors whom Dr Dalli claims to be well aware of and who I think I also know those responsible.

Signor Tajani, your country is in a total mess and has become even more of a ‘minestrone’ with the likes of Matteo Salvini who is trying to solve Italy’s problems by blaming everything on Malta to derail the focus of the Italian public from the shambles in their country.

Above all, you did not vote so as to support your Hungarian buddy and EPP colleague and ally Prime Minister Viktor Orban of Hungary.

The European Union is collapsing by the minute and you are one of the major contributors.
