JOSEPH MUSCAT TO BLAME – AGAIN – everything is his fault – another joker joins the pack!

Since the year 2013 everything that has gone wrong is undoubtedly the fault of Prime Minister Joseph Muscat – according to Simon Busuttil, Adrian Delia, Jason Azzopardi, et al. Sometimes this group is also joined by Malta’s Archbishop Charles Scicluna.

If leaves fall off trees – Muscat is to blame; if the sun rises 30 seconds later than usual – Muscat is to blame; if a bridge collapses in Genoa, somewhere along the line Muscat is to blame!

On the other hand, all the achievements acquired by the Muscat Government are merely the tremendous work of the Nationalist Government over the last 25 years!

Now, we have another joker joining this group of buffoons. This is one Johannes Bayer who is said to be a Board Member of the NGO Sea-Watch – whatever that is.

According to this Bayer, immigrants are dying and drowning not because they are foolish and stupid but because Joseph Muscat is cruel and hard-hearted and although he is concerned about the ongoing battles in Libya, he cares little for drowning immigrants.

Once more, everything is the fault of this man Muscat!

Well dear Johannes Bayer, here is my take on the situation.

If the Libyans want to slaughter each other, that’s their business and let them get on with it. They have never been mentally stable people – in fact they are the stupidest and most hard-headed people in the world.

Nature has gifted them with the lucky fortune of tremendous oil and gas reserves – and what have they done with it? Did they get together and create a paradise on earth, a country that is the envy of all others? No, they have been squabbling and fighting for decades without the least sign of humanitarian goodness in their hearts and in their lives.

So, if that is what they want – good luck to them. Carry on slaughtering each other.

Now then, these so-called refugees, which in their vast majority are not refugees at all but people foolishly being attracted by the “charms” of Europe, continue to make their way to Libya when they know this is a country run by criminals, where they know they will be horrendously treated and where they know they ultimately face a perilous sea journey into the unknown. Over and above, they know all this will cost them a fortune.

So, where do they obtain the cash to pay for all this if they are so poorly off? Additionally, you have to be completely off your mind to even contemplate going to Libya in the first instance. This is like my booking a “luxury” holiday to Syria at the moment, or Afghanistan. When I get there, what do I expect – bouquets of roses and glasses of champagne?

So dear Johannes Bayer, spare us all your buffoonery and your pretence humanitarian aims. The first thing the EU should do is investigate the financial standing and income of all these so-called Rescue NGOs, their sources of income and the life-style they are living.

In his words of wisdom Bayer tells us “Muscat talks of not looking away and illegally impedes the deployment of civilian rescue assets and of the reconnaissance aircraft Moonbird. While diplomats are evacuated by sea, thousands fleeing war and violence are deserted by the European Union again.”

“Thousands fleeing war and violence” – what war and violence? We are not talking of Syrians here but people from all over Africa and Asia. Is everybody at war and violent?

Above all, to escape “war and violence”, they head for Libya, a country split asunder by war and violence.

Very commendable indeed.
