TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN Declaration

In view of certain allegations, suppositions, conjectures, inventions and misinformation bandied about me since yesterday, I declare the following:

I am a retired 72-year-old pensioner;

I am NOT an employee of PBS and NEVER have been;

I am not a PBS contributor; a PBS contributor writes or broadcasts programmes on PBS television and radio, or is contracted to appear in a series of programmes, or writes and follows-up news features and other kinds of features; I do not write news or investigate news for PBS and have ABSOLUTELY NO INFLUENCE in the news broadcast;

I am not and have never been in Government employment; I do not hold any Government appointed position;

I am NOT a member of the Labour Party or any other party;

I do NOT visit political party clubs;

I do NOT participate in political activities; I do NOT attend political meetings;

I am NOT standing for any election as a Local Councillor, never have and never will. Neither have I ever contested a political election – never have and never will;

I am NOT a canvasser for any Minister, Member of Parliament or political candidate of any kind;

I am NOT close to any politician and have never met the Leaders or Deputy Leaders of any of the two main political parties.

I am an INDEPENDENT free-thinker, writer and opinionist and I am NOT being paid for my views, for my writing or for my opinions.

I hope and trust that is abundantly clear now.
