Following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ and his Disciples, the most saintly reverend Saint Adrian Delia delivers a weekly sermon to the faithful to impart his views on The History of Malta in 2018.
He does so on paper as the Head of the Nationalist Party (a veritable Medusa with many, many Heads – so many it is virtually impossible to identify the actual Head) and Leader of the Opposition although last week former Leader Dr Simon Busuttil woke up in Parliament with a start and asked whether Minister Dr Ian Borg was referring to him when he mentioned “The Leader of the Opposition”!

Statistics of more Maltese holidaying abroad and spending more money – lies;
Statistics of restaurants having bumper trade – lies;
Statistics of hotel occupancy – lies;
Statistics of bumper crowds attending and celebrating public events – lies.
The truth is emerging in weekly sermons by St Adrian Delia, so, Those That Have Ears to Listen – Let Them Listen:
The Prime Minister Joseph Muscat is stealing money from people’s pockets;
70,000 people as of last Sunday cannot stretch their finance to the end of the week; this increases by 10,000 every week;
The Government is not about to build housing estates but garages;
Malta is currently worse off than were Spain and Portugal in their most dire of financial crises;
Many are working long hours, well over the stipulated time, just to earn €700 monthly;
Malta has been reduced to modern slavery;
One has to have at least three jobs to be able to afford a pizza in a restaurant;
So, there you have it.
But all is not lost! Saint Adrian Delia at the head of a fraction of a Nationalist Party faction is galloping to the rescue and will rescue the people of Malta and Gozo from these dire straits. As his reliable lieutenants he has Clyde Puli and David Agius and his Mother Theresa (who always seems to accompany him) is Kristy Debono!
