DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR – escaped fugitive wanted in two countries for criminal fraud tries to glamour

My God – this woman Maria Efimova, whose pending Criminal Court cases allege she is nothing more than a piece of criminal scrap, seems to suffer enormous delusions of grandeur and is bending over backwards to try and project and vault herself as one of the world’s VIPs!

This projection would have us believe she is a cross between James Bond and Mata Hari, parachuting out of lightning-speed jets, jumping out of speeding limousines and zigzagging to avoid high velocity bullets.

You know the style – “my name is Bond – James Bond” ... although it sounds awkward as “my name is Efimova – Maria Efimova”.

Still, I suppose we all live our imaginary lives to as much fulfilment as we can be permitted to do. However, the hard facts of reality are always there and will always surface to be there.

In her case the facts are that:

  • She is a fugitive from Justice;

  • She is wanted for fraud and misappropriation in Malta and Cyprus;

  • She has two pending European Mandates of Arrest requested by Malta and Cyprus;

  • She is seeking refuge from Justice in Greece on her purported “fear” of assassins running about the streets of Malta and Gozo wanting to “kill her”;

  • She is apparently even afraid to return to her home country Russia – for God knows what reason;

  • She was quoted as the “source” of Egrant allegations against the PM and his wife as “having seen documents”, later saying she has no documents and therefore allegations made merely because she said so and therefore totally inadmissible in a Court of Law;

  • She is being guarded as some kind of international treasure by no less than David Casa who appears to all intents and purposes to be doing his utmost to KEEP HER AWAY from Malta – why, one may ask?

Now, we have the latest episode in the saga which grows into surreal fantasy by the minute. Arrested Iranian Pilatus Bank (the bank that alleged her with criminal fraud and misappropriation) Chairman Ali Sadr Hasheminejad was released on bail in the US this past weekend after earlier being arrested for helping to bust US sanctions against Iran – after an investigation that took the US authorities a full ten years.

Just a mere few hours after his release, this Efimova tweeted “Several hours he is out of jail and threats have already started. Going to file a report with the Greek Police right now”.

My, my – so this joke of a clown really is a VIP (according to her). As if he does not have enough problems to contend with, this Hasheminejad, a multi-millionaire, apparently spent his time locked up pondering on how to square matters off with this Efimova and as soon as he sprung out of jail on bail grabbed a mobile and gave orders – or did so himself – to issue threats against her!

How more delusional a life of fantasy can one live?

Outstandingly, these questions require answering Efimova, so please spare us all this claptrap you are trying to impress us with and get down to answering them:

  • Why are you afraid to return to your own home country Russia? You claimed you fled Malta because your family in Russia was being “threatened”. Why did you not go back home to be with them?

  • What have you to fear from your own Russian authorities? Have you been double-dealing? Did the attempted assassination of former Russian agent Skripal and his daughter have anything to do with it because when the news broke you immediately re-surfaced and sought asylum in Greece?

  • Why do you have close ties with such persons as David Casa, David Thake and others? What is your interest in Malta where you are facing criminal charges? Why are you afraid to return to Malta? Are you perhaps afraid the truth will emerge and that maybe this truth could be you were paid by a person or persons to try and damage the Malta Government and the PM personally?

  • Above all, what motivated you to commit alleged fraud and misappropriation in Cyprus and Malta? If the allegations are upheld, does this indicate you are a person with criminal intent?

  • Why should Hasheminejad’s release on bail be tied to your allegations of immediately receiving threats?

Is it not time to forget James Bond and Mata Hari Ms Efimova? The more you open your mouth the less your credibility becomes.
