A MEETING OF CHARLATANS –a Divine Comedy that even Dante Alighieri would not have dreamt of!

Yesterday marked a milestone in the history of the EU when two of Europe’s greatest charlatans met, shook hands and embraced! Unbelievable – beyond the realms of belief!

This was a piece of Divine Comedy that even the great Dante Alighieri would have never, ever dreamt of.

On the left we have Adrian Delia, the Leader of the Opposition and the Leader of Malta’s Nationalist Party (don’t read too much into this name because they are more akin to Malta’s National Treachery Party).

Now this Delia fellow was the one who angrily labeled Daphne Caruana Galizia as a “bicca-Blogger” (that is, a would-be Blogger) after she wrote to do her level best to BLOCK him from becoming PN Leader, accusing him of living off the earnings of a prostitution racket in London, accusing him of having failed to pay €80,000 in owed taxes to the Inland Revenue Department, as well as accusing him of owing several millions euros to banks.

Lo and behold, on the right is Antonio Tajani, the Italian President of the EU Parliament who ATTENDED DCG’s funeral, embraced Simon Busuttil – the man that Delia ousted – and who attended her funeral despite the shameful snubbing of Malta’s President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca who was barred from attending the funeral by the Caruana Galizia family. Not only was the President of Malta snubbed but the Republic of Malta.

This charlatan went one better. He then named a hall in the EU Parliament to commemorate DCG!

Yesterday they met and embraced in Brussels!

What could have been going through their minds as they shook hands? I can only guess:

DELIA: “This is the ass-hole who named a hall after that bicca-Blogger DCG even though she tried her best to dirty and defame me”.

TAJANI: “This is the ass-hole that DCG wrote about and probably had in mind when she wrote ‘there are crooks everywhere you look; the situation is desperate’ “.

Indeed a Divine Comedy. Dante Alighieri shudders and quakes in his grave.

Mind you, all this was superseded and bettered by evening time yesterday when PN MP Edwin Vassallo likened DCG to Our Lady of Sorrows (her commemoration is today) and said in Parliament that DCG is Malta’s “Our Lady of Sorrows” – a piece of primary class heresy and a sleight of total disrespect to Our Lady.

Unbelievable! Incredible!
